Children of all ages will delight in listening to these four original stories performed by award-winning talent. Emmy winner Betty White starts off the collection reading A DAY AT THE ZOO (by Mary Sheldon), the story of Lizzy and her troublesome friend Eric on the day they finally get to visit the zoo. DANCING IN THE PARK (by Annie Reiner), performed by Golden Globe winning actress Sharon Stone, is the story of a dancer named Claudia who determines to cheer up a sad little boy in the park. Oscar winner Jeremy Irons gives a lively performance of THE TRIUMPHANT BEAUTIFUL EGG (by Ari Meyers, voice of Mrs. Griff in the popular cartoon series "Stanley"), the account of an egg-painting rabbit whose self-proclaimed masterpiece goes unappreciated. The last story, performed by Grammy winner Linda Ronstadt, is SPANISH FOR NATALIE (by Kate Folb). In Spanish for Natalie, two girls from different cultural backgrounds find out they have a lot in common. These educational and heart-warming tales may deal with issues we face in modern society, but the timeless appeal of their characters will one day make them classics.
